There is no effective MLS system in Argentina; therefore, SCL works with an in-house real estate broker/martillero, F. Jorge Alguacil, CPI-Mat 1100, to manage its database of properties for sale. SCL also works with many other real estate entities to compile the widest possible range of offerings for real estate investors. This enables us to have our hand on the pulse of the market, and to be aware of new properties for sale before they reach the tradition real estate marketplace. 

SCL has put together an independent team of professionals—Martillero, Escribanos, Lawyers, Accountants—that will reliably guide you through the purchase process, and guarantee that you receive clear title to your chosen property. Stephen Vletas, the company founder, will also be available to personally consult with you throughout the process.

Standard real estate commissions on purchases are 3% paid by the buyer, and 3% paid by the seller (citizens from the United States should note this difference). At times, on large purchases, commissions can be negotiated. For rentals, the renter pays the entire commission, which is usually one month’s rent.
