One of the premier Malbec vineyards in Valle de Uco, on the south side of paved Route 94, in front of Bodega Lurton. This is the highest quality area for Malbec vines in the world. 50 hectares are planted with 10 year old Malbec in full production. 49 hectares are planted with 3 year old Malbec, in production for the 2012 harvest, and in full production in 2013. Property includes a 12" commercial well, automated drip irrigation system for the entire property, hairl protection netting on the 50 hectares of mature Malbec, a caretaker's house, and a new large galpon (storage building). 1.5 hectares has been left vacant in the middle of the vineyards for a future winery or tourism development. Views of the Andes are spectacular, from Cordon del Plata to Tupungato Volcano, and on to the southern peaks. |
